I sometimes jump when I've let go of the jump button.

Ahaha well it was a good attempt.
At least it didn't bug out.

I need to add more sensitivity for vertical axis input.

I liked the way you handled the "failure" (if you can call that a failure, because i think it was a success just por getting you out on the confort zone and publishing a functional game) congrats!

Pretty good :) I really like the idea of damage causing you to go back in time, even if it didn't really make it to the final product.

I liked it as a basic platformer. Animations were nice and smooth. Art is cute. Level design was good. I think you can be more confident and proud of what you've created.

True you didn't nail down a cool new mechanic but I wouldn't have the first clue on how to implement a rewind mechanic

I wouldn't call it "failed". I like how the character leaves "imprints" of itself on the way, like putting your mark on the world and I like the look.

The jump feels ok, but a little static. Have you ever tried something like this:

?

I also liked this breakdown of building a better jump:

Well, still a cool coincident, that we both chose the same name for our games, really hope you're not coming after me with some legal action :P

I played little big planet 2 a lot. For me this floating jumping feels more natural.

Played through Little Big Planet 2 once or twice, and you're right, those are also very cool jumps, feels like low gravity in LBP2 when you jump
